Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and Selah for using the app. By downloading or using Selah: Bible & Audio, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

Selah (“the app,” “we,” “us”) is operated by Burak Dalkıran. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

Using Selah

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Selah on Apple devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use, in line with the Apple Media Services Terms and these terms. You agree not to copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or misuse the app or its content, and not to use the AI companion to generate unlawful, harmful, or abusive content.

Scripture and content

Selah presents the Bible in English (King James Version) and Español (Reina-Valera 1909). The app also provides audio narration and an AI companion intended to support reading and reflection.

Selah Premium subscription

Some features are offered through an auto-renewing subscription, Selah Premium. The following terms apply:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price of the plan you selected (monthly or annual).
• You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renew, in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial, where offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by region.

Refunds are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms; we cannot issue refunds directly. To request one, use Apple's “Report a Problem” page.

Availability

Reading works offline once content is on your device. Audio streaming and the AI companion require an internet connection and depend on third-party services; we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may change or discontinue features.

Intellectual property

The Selah name, design, original code, and audio narration are owned by us or our licensors. Bible translations included in the app are in the public domain or used under the terms of their respective editions.

Disclaimers

Selah is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or that content, including AI responses, will be accurate or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Apple

Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the app. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Turkey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
